Bike crash in Dalton Square causes diversions

A motorcyclist was injured in a crash in Dalton Square in Lancaster.

Police and ambulance were called at 1.25pm to reports of a crash between a car and a motorbike.

Traffic was being diverted up Moor Lane whilst police were at the scene.

The biker, who only suffered minor injuries, was riding a blue Yamaha motorbike and the car involved was a grey Skoda Yeti.

North West Ambulance Service said the biker was taken to the Royal Lancaster Infirmary but was not thought to be seriously injured.

The car driver was not injured.
