Raffle tickets are on sale now at £2.50 a strip and although there is no entrance fee donations will be taken at the door.

Jodie Hegarty who works at the salon, said: “The reason for our event is that we have so many clients who have battled or are battling all different types of cancer and it is heart breaking.

“We have also sadly lost loved ones in our families, even friends!

“As a salon we want to show our clients, families and friends we care by trying to help make a difference and supporting these charities.

“Everybody is welcome, ladies, gentleman and children.”

The fundraising day takes place on Monday, June 15.
