Ballet company celebrate 10th anniversary

THE award-winning Ballet Black dance their way in to The Dukes during their 10th anniversary tour this November.

This company of black and Asian ballet dancers has had great success over the past decade, though this will be their first visit to Lancaster.

For their Dukes debut on November 4, Ballet Black presents a mixed bill of highlights from the past decade including the critically acclaimed Da Gamba by the Welsh-Nigerian choreographer, Henri Oguike.

Ballet Black was founded in 2001, and is based and supported by the Royal Opera House in its aim to diversify classical ballet.

Tickets are priced £16/£14. A limited number of £5 tickets are available for anyone aged 26 and under.
