The Street pARTy festival on Saturday, July 30 will mark the end of a street art project to spruce up Victoria Street.

It will be a day where people can come along and make art, with free workshops and art experiences for families and visitors, described as “a vibrant atmosphere and true celebration of creativity”.

Children will be invited to make their own tile pattern poster using a palette of Morecambe icons, there will be graffiti and mosaic art workshops, paper folding to make your own sailor hat, and a workshop where people can share their memories and hopes in words and pictures and contribute to a giant newspaper that tells the story of your Morecambe.

The festival runs from 11am to 5pm and is organised by Morecambe Portas Pilot Town and Deco Publique.
