Appeal after theft of student’s debit card

Police want to speak to a woman in connection with the theft and use of a student’s bank debit card.

The woman went to the Co-op food store on Regent Road, Morecambe and used the ATM outside, withdrawing cash before walking into the store and making a purchase with some of the cash.

Police need to speak with the woman captured on CCTV so she can be eliminated from enquiries.

PC Simon Harrison, from Lancaster & Morecambe Police, said: “We would appeal to the public, the person herself and anyone who can identify the woman in the CCTV image, to get in touch with us to help us and provide any information in regards to this investigation.”

The incident happened betwen 8am and 9am on March 10.
