Sam Amidon has always managed to create work that is original, even when, on previous discs, he was digging through the sounds and stories of traditional American music from the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

Amidon’s latest album The Following Mountain was released in May 2017 and is his first album of largely original compositions.

Amidon will be supported by indie-folk artist Anne-Marie Sanderson.
