APOLLO Cinemas Morecambe is screening the story of one day on Earth this Sunday, July 24.
Life in a Day is the critically acclaimed YouTube project by Academy Award®-winning director Kevin Macdonald, borne out of a unique partnership between Ridley Scott’s Scott Free UK production company and YouTube.
The film captures the lives of people across the world on camera, and is created entirely from user-generated videos shot on a single day – July 24, 2010.
Over 80,000 videos were submitted representing over 4,500 hours of deeply personal, powerful films from across the world, from bustling cities to some of the most remote parts of Earth. Premiered at Sundance Film Festival earlier this year, Life in a Day brings together the most compelling footage, combining 331 clips into a 95-minute film, crafted by Kevin Macdonald, Executive Producer Ridley Scott.
From just £10 a ticket, cinema goers will be able to take a front row seat for this poignant and critically acclaimed masterpiece.
To book tickets for the screening at 2.45pm, fans can go to www.apollocinemas.com.
