Morecambe’s zombie festival is back for another horror-packed year.
Combining live music, dance, dress-up and monstrous fun, Zombieville comes back from the dead this weekend.
Running from this Friday (October 11) to Sunday (October 13), Zombieville also includes Morecambe’s only zombie-themed walk where people dress in horror costume and parade through the streets of town!
Zombieville starts on Friday with live music from Carnforth rockers Massive Wagons at Smokey O’Connor’s pub on Morecambe Street (£5 admission, 7pm to 1am).
The Zombie Crawl parade starts at Regent Park Studios, Morecambe at 11am on Saturday (October 12) and finishes at the Arndale Centre. Anyone is welcome to take part in this free walk. A zombie makeover will be provided for those who want to dress up, or come along in your own costume!
Live music on the night at Smokey’s comes from punk band Pink Hearse and Cyferdyne (£5 admission, 7pm to 1am).
The grand finale is a Lady Ga Ga tribute at the Winter Gardens on Sunday afternoon (noon to 5pm, admission £5 for adults, kids free).
