Travel review: Illuminasia Blackpool

Followed off by a trip to the fish and chip shop and a ride on a tram and we were as happy as larry.

Now the newly opened Illuminasia brings all year round illuminations. The indoor lights show is housed in the Winter Gardens and is simply stunning.

You can enjoy a visit to seven spectacular illumination displays from the Mysterious of China to the Blackpool Experience in 3D.

The Chinese experience allows you to see the beauty and tradition of Chinese lantern making as it was originally intended as a way of celebrating Chinese culture. With a scratch card full of questions to keep you guessing, you can work out which animal your birth date relates to and watch 3D dragons trying to lick your nose.

There are displays on Blackpool and its famous tower and other famous landmarks such as the Statue of Liberty and the Leaning Tower of Pisa.

And the tour is finished with a laser display which will keep the whole family entertained!
