Singer hits high note for charity
Heysham soprano Linda Tolchard hit the high note when she helped a cancer charity raise £2,813.20 by headlining its 2018 spring concert.
Linda took centre stage for the second year in succession at the annual Blackburn Cathedral concert in aid of Rosemere Cancer Foundation, which was watched by an audience of almost 400 music-lover. Tickets for the concert were free but its audience donated to a retiring collection and also supported a raffle. For further information visit www.rosemere.org.uk
