Is there a chance Paul Daniels will ever retire? As Daniels himself would say, maybe, but not a lot.

This is why the TV entertainer has billed his show at The Platform this Saturday (November 30) as his ‘First Farewell Tour’.

Paul’s latest UK tour could be the last time for the evergreen magician but more likely, it will be one of the last times because he seems to go on forever.

His brand new show, subtitled ‘From Legend to Leg End’, is full of his favorite magic tricks and a number of new tricks never performed in public before.

A regular visitor to Morecambe, Paul ‘s many successful TV series during the height of his BBC career, including The Paul Daniels Magic Show, Odd One Out, Every Second Counts, Wipeout and Wizbit.

In recent years, Paul has appeared on Da Ali G Show (Channel 4), Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway (ITV) and Strictly Come Dancing (BBC) and alongside Debbie on cult TV show When Louis Met...(BBC2), Wife Swap (Channel 4), The Farm (Channel 5), and The X Factor: Battle of the Stars (ITV).

As always Paul will be joined by his wife, the lovely Debbie McGee (eeee).

Debbie met Paul after she passed an audition to dance in his summer show at Great Yarmouth. The rest is history.

As well as supporting Paul on his show, Debbie has in recent years become artistic director and choreographer of a ballet company and hosts her own Sunday show on BBC Radio Berkshire.

Tickets for the show cost £16 and are available from Morecambe Visitor Information Centre at the Platform and on 01524 582803. 7.30pm start.
