The 22-year-old singer is transported from a rainy promenade as she takes a ‘selfie’ with the Eric Morecambe statue and dances with Paul Frith in glorious sunshine.

Paul, who likes to paint himself all black to resemble the Eric landmark, joins Ashleigh in her music video which is filmed along the promenade and at Happy Mount Park.

The ‘Bring Me Sunshine’ video will be released on August 24 and will be used to promote the area as a tourism destination.

Ashleigh said: “It’s a great honour for someone like me, at the start of my career to be associated with such a loved and respected star of show business.
