The James Taylor Quartet will bring a new sound to the Platform in Morecambe tomorrow (September 28).

For a quarter of a century, the James Taylor Quartet has set the standard for the coolest sounds in funky acid jazz. But their new album ‘Closer to the Moon’ instead brings together the worlds of jazz and classical music.

The quartet remains in demand everywhere from Ronnie Scott’s to Rome, and James has made guest appearances with the Pogues and Manic Street Preachers, as well as on Tom Jones’ multi-platinum chart-topper ‘Reload.’

The show starts at 8pm.

Tickets cost £16 and are available from the box office on 01524 582803 or from Visitor Information Centres in Morecambe and Lancaster.
