Here's which areas of the Lancaster district have seen the most deaths from coronavirus

The number of coronavirus deaths in Lancaster and Morecambe show big differences in the impact of the virus across the district.

These latest figures, published by the Office for National Statistics, show deaths occurring between March 1 and May 31 and registered by June 6, where coronavirus was the underlying cause or was mentioned on the death certificate as a contributory factor.

Carnforth, Silverdale and Warton had the highest number of deaths where coronavirus was the underlying cause, with 14, out of 41 deaths in total from all causes.

The lowest was Moorlands and Greaves, with no coronavirus-related deaths of five deaths in total.

Bare: 5 (of 49 deaths in total)

Halton & Caton: 1 (of 12 deaths in total)

Morecambe Westgate: 1 (of 20 deaths in total)

Scale Hall & Torrisholme: 1 (of 24 deaths in total)
