Another Lancaster school partially closes after positive coronavirus case
A third Lancaster school has confirmed it has had a positive Covid-19 case, meaning three school years are being asked to self-isolate.
Castle View Primary School, in Keswick Road on the Ridge, said this morning, Monday, that a case had forced them to close the lower school.
They said: "Unfortunately, we have had a confirmed case of coronavirus in school and therefore all children in reception, Year 1 and Year 2 must self isolate for 14 days from today.
"If children have siblings in any other classes they may still come to school."
Lancaster Royal Grammar School and Dallas Road Primary School were both forced to keep certain classes off school last week as a precaution following positive Covid-19 tests.
