Lancaster University is in top 10 for student satisfaction and employability

Lancaster University has been placed ninth in a new report looking at the factors most important to students.

A new report by GoCompare has found the top universities in the UK for the factors most important to students including satisfaction and employability to guide those looking for the best all-round experience.

With more than 100 universities in the country, students are spoilt for choice when choosing their higher education.

To make it easier for those starting their search early next year, the study has found the top universities in the UK based on official scoring, student opinion and future employability.

The University of Bath came in first, while Lancaster University placed ninth for its high employability and National Student Survey (NSS) score.

The ultimate ranking took into consideration the most important official statistics including NSS, Employability and Times and Guardian rankings to name the UK Ivy league.

With so many different rankings available, this league has combined the very best statistics to find the best universities based on what's most important to students - satisfaction and future success.
