Opening date set for new dog friendly coffee shop and wine bar in Heysham

Signage was fitted at the dog friendly venue, which will open in Heysham Road in the former Time for Flowers premises, earlier this month.

The team said on Facebook: "We have news...we have been signed off!

"After what feels like an absolute age, we finally have a date for opening.

“We will be opening the doors to The Dispensary on Sunday 29th October from 3pm.”

The owners, Nicola and Mike Kirby, added that residents might spot some activity taking place on Friday evening, when they will be doing a test run of the equipment to make sure they are operational for Sunday.

“We won’t be bringing you platters straight away, as you all know we have had lots of twists and turns in our journey to get open, we have made the descision to open the doors prior to the kitchen being fully completed,” they added.

“We look forward to welcoming you.”
