CORONAVIRUS: Lancaster businesses urged to seek advice from BID in ‘unprecedented’ situation
The organisation, which represents businesses in the city centre, said it was working closely with partners to consider what further support it can provide.
Businesses face huge uncertainties as people are advised to practice social distancing, and not visit pubs, clubs, restaurants and theatres until further notice.

“The situation is unprecedented and the ever changing advice makes forward planning very difficult for everyone.
“Lancaster BID will remain open for business...to give any help we can to get through this together.

Hide Ad“We are working closely with Morecambe BID, Lancaster City Council and Lancaster District Chamber of Commerce to consider what support we can give as well as collating key information to ensure a consistent message to local businesses.
“We are also engaging in discussions with BID networks nationwide to identify a strong message from across the industry to take to government and lobby for further business measures to be implemented.”
