Here's a handy guide to all the opening hours of supermarkets over the Easter weekend

Supermarket opening hours tend to change over Bank Holiday weekends, which is why we've prepared this helpful list of all the opening hours you need for the major supermarkets around the district.

Asda

Asda stores will be closed on Easter Sunday.

On Good Friday, Lancaster Asda will be open 24 hours.

It will be open 12am until 10pm on Saturday, and then from 7am until 8pm on Easter Monday.

In Morecambe, Asda will open on Good Friday and Saturday from 7am until 10pm.

It will close on Easter Sunday, but open on Easter Monday from 7am until 8pm.

Tesco

Tesco will have different trading hours for its Extra superstores and Metro branches over the Easter weekend.

On Good Friday, Extra superstores and Metro stores will be open until 8pm.

On Saturday, Extra superstores and Metro stores will be open until 10pm.

On Easter Sunday, Extra superstores and Metro stores will be closed.

On Monday, Extra superstores and Metro stores in England and Wales will be open until 6pm.

Express stores will operate normal trading hours throughout the four-day Easter weekend.

Morrisons

All stores will be closed on Easter Sunday.

On Good Friday and Saturday, Morecambe Morrisons will be open from 7am until 10pm

On Easter Monday it will be open from 7am until 7pm

Sainsbury's

Both Lancaster and Morecambe Sainsbury's will be open 8am until 8pm on both Good Friday and Easter Monday.

They will open as normal on Saturday, 7.30am until 10pm, and on Easter Sunday both will be closed.

Booths

Lancaster Booths will open on Good Friday and Saturday from 8am until 9pm.

It will be closed on Easter Sunday, and will reopen on Easter Monday from 8am until 9pm.

Carnforth Booths operates similar hours, but opens at 7am each day.

Lidl

Stores will operate normal trading hours on Good Friday and Saturday.

All stores in England and Wales will be closed on Easter Sunday.

On Easter Monday all stores outside the M25 are open 8am - 8pm.

Aldi

More than 800 stores in England and Wales will be open until 8pm on Good Friday and 10pm on Saturday.

Stores are to remain closed on Easter Sunday, but will be open until 8pm on Easter Monday.

Iceland

Iceland will operate normal trading hours on Good Friday and Saturday.

Supermarkets will be closed on Easter Sunday, and normal trading hours will resume on Easter Monday.

M&S

In Lancaster, M&S will be open on Good Friday from 9am until 6pm, and on Saturday from 8.30am until 6pm.

It will be closed on Easter Sunday, but will open on Easter Monday from 9am until 6pm.
