Covid-19 has managed to put the dampers on the entertainment scene around the world, but the West End Players are planning ahead for their annual Christmas pantomime.
Treasurer Jim Lupton:"Last year we had great success with A Christmas Carol and this year we are looking forward to presenting The Snow Queen.

Hide Ad"Our pantomime's are special as they're adapted and devised by the cast and are usually set in the West End of Morecambe.
"This year with Covid-19, we have had to have a plan B, which will be performing the play in Regent Park if restrictions are in place, where we can practice social distancing.
"All are welcome to take part in the pantomime. We'll be meeting at 1pm this Saturday (August 8) at the Playhouse on Yorkshire Street."
