Whether it’s enjoying a circus show and then testing out your skills, taking part in an acoustic sounds session or going along to a ‘Spooky Tuesday’ children’s Halloween event, there’s something for everyone.

Other activities include attending a witches and wizards workshop or listening to Dan Worsley’s ‘Impossible Tales’ and joining in with the wonderful characters he creates.

County Councillor Marcus Johnstone, cabinet member for environment, planning and cultural services, said: “We’ve got lots of fun activities taking place in libraries for the half-term holiday.

“Many of them are suitable for children and young people of different ages.

“Whatever the weather, families can come along and have fun.”

Booking a place is essential for most of the activities.

Most events are free.
