Members of Morecambe Warblers have been horsing around during rehearsals for their latest musical.
The cast of the amateur operatic society, who are performing Rodger and Hammerstein’s Oklahoma in October, took time out from their rehearsal schedule for a photoshoot at Downeyfield Carriages on Middleton Road, owned by local businessman Michael Gorry.
The show is being performed at the Grand Theatre, Lancaster, from October 2 to 6.
It is set around Aunt Ellers’ farm and tells the story of cowboy Curly McLain and his romance with farm girl Laurey Williams.
There are also many comedy moments throughout the show concerning cowboy Will Parker, his flirtatious fiancée, Ado Annie, and a travelling peddler, Ali Hakim.
Expect all the well-loved songs including Oh,What a Beautiful Morning and People Will Say We’re in Love.
