Children of Killers, the Dukes Young Actors, DT3, Lancaster.
CHILDREN of Killers examines the atrocious genocides of Rwanda in the 1990s and their aftermath.
Seen through the eyes of the children of both the murderers and the victims, the play graphically depicts the violence and tragedy of the holocaust of 1994 and the impacts it had on the youngsters.
Performed with great dignity and raw simplicity, the play probes issues such as rape, HIV/AIDS, guilt and suffering that is beyond most Western imaginations.
