Music performances, activities, a photographic exhibition and workshops will all be part of More Music’s annual Community Open Day on Saturday, September 21.
The event will see the community music charity welcome everyone to its newly refurbished building, The Hothouse, from 1pm to 5pm.
Throughout the afternoon there will be free music workshops to take part in and musical performances to enjoy.
Workshops will include a rock school, DJing, Chinese music, beatboxing and music production.
Visitors will be able to tour The Hothouse, talk to music leaders and view the venue space, rehearsal rooms, music technology suite and recording studio. More Music celebrates its 20th anniversary this year and this event will also include the launch of a new photo exhibition at the Hothouse.
The exhibition features pictures that cover More Music’s two decade long history.
