IT’S now or never for the burgeoning music career of TV personality Paul Hayes - who is set to sing with Elvis Presley’s guitarist.
Cash in the Attic star Paul and his ‘50s rock ‘n’ roll band The Paul Hayes Collection will perform with the legendary James Burton next month.
And the telly antiques dealer and his group, who only formed earlier this year, say they’re “all shook up” at the honour of not only being asked to play with Burton, but to actually top the bill!
The American star, who was this year inducted into the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame at the same time as Queen, Paul Simon and Aerosmith, was the King’s guitarist from 1969 until his death in 1977.
He would have played on Presley’s famous NBC TV show The ‘68 Comeback Special but he had to turn it down, because he was busy working with Frank Sinatra!
The band’s guitarist Steve “Golly” Goulding said: “This is the ultimate.
“I’ve known about James Burton all my life. To get an opportunity like this is the best thing that’s happened to me and I’ve been in bands since 1962.”
