Some ‘real’ Normans will be bringing the past to life when David Haworth from Morecambe signs copies of his debut alternate history novel.

Waterstones has recruited some historical re-enactment people to dress up for the signing session of The Hidden Crown, on Thursday December 19, 5pm, at the King Street store in Lancaster.

David will also be at the Cornmarket branch on Saturday December 21 at 2pm.

Meanwhile at Carnforth Bookshop, Timber Hawkeye, author of Buddhist Boot Camp, will put in a one-off appearance on Tuesday, December 17, at 2pm.

Throughout this year, Timber has been travelling around the US to talk about his ‘boot camp’ for the soul. He’s built a huge international following which includes more than 200,000 Facebook fans.

Timber offers a non-sectarian approach to being at peace with the world, both within and around us. His intention is to awaken, enlighten, enrich and inspire.

This is his only event to be held in Lancashire and Cumbria.
