The Lancaster author of a new poetry collection will be donating any book royalties earned during May to charity.
As an ME sufferer for 15 years, Jet Spero’s chosen charity – the Association of Young People with ME – is close to his heart.
Born in Whitehaven, Jet bounced around the North West before settling in Lancaster in 2008.
Holding Feet: A Poetry Anthology is an overview of his life since moving to the city. It tackles gritty themes such as addiction, rejection, family drama, mental illness and love in all its guises.
Jet said: “The anthology brings together a life lived in hope.
“I write because I have to write. I have to get the words out of me, and then I can relax.”
The collection is available in ebook and paperback from Amazon (e-book): https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00J0653TI or Lulu.com (physical): http://www.lulu.com/spotlight/Holding_Feet.
