AT a time when the Morecambe FC players are performing exceptionally on the field, the club's fortunes off the pitch have never been brighter.
And the feelgood factor all centres around this, their new £12million Westgate home.

The Visitor was at the site of the new stadium on Thursday to bring you these exclusive pictures of the spectacular ground as it takes shape.

Well done Visitor.
Your about the only locals that managed to get some work there.
After all the bull we were given in the planning stage about it generating local jobs.
Are you ever going to raise this question or are you just going to continue blowing their trumpet?

Who said it was going to create local jobs in the construction stage? Sometimes a few get taken on from local companies (as they have in this in earlier stages - some Askham Construction lads worked on it and Lingwoods have got some work out of it) but they usually bring in their own lads.

What will bring local jobs out of all this is when they are up and running and need staff for their sports hire facilities and function rooms, which will be open all week.

Also the deal means we get a Sainsburys - so hundreds more jobs there as well.

Why should The Visitor take up your one-man rant?
