MORECAMBE boss Sammy McIlroy paid tribute to his side's powers of 'bouncebackability' after their superb 5-3 victory over Chester at Christie Park.
After seeing his side clinch their fifth win in six games he said: "To come back from a goal down against Chester and score five goals was fantastic and the lads have done me proud in recent weeks."
This comeback was only days after a superb 3-0 victory at second-placed Hereford.
And that came as a great example of The Shrimps' ability to bounce back from disappointment, coming after a woeful display that saw them lose 2-0 at Wycombe the previous Friday.

A superb display ended with Morecambe 4-1 ahead at the half-time break.
After going a goal down to Kevin Ellison's stunning free kick on four minutes the Shrimps hit back in stunning fashion with three goals coming from Michael Twiss corners. The first came on 18 minutes when Jim Bentley volleyed home a deep corner from an acute angle.
A minute later Garry Thompson doubled the lead with a near post header before Matty Blinkhorn scored his second in successive games when he bundled home from close range.
The Shrimps ended the half with a fourth goal as Carl Baker turned home the rebound after Bentley had hit the woodwork.
Morecambe added a fifth with 20 minutes to go when Bentley headed home his second of the game before Chester staged a late revival and goals from Ellison and Holroyd gave the Shrimps a fright before the final whistle signalled another excellent win.
