Morecambe’s hottest boxing prospect hopes to have lifted his first title by the end of 2013.

Undefeated Westgate Warrior Isaac Lowe may be only 19 but hopes his fifth professional outing at the Sports Centre in Oldham this Saturday, October 5, is the start of a big few months.

The featherweight said: “After this fight I’m back on November 15 in Blackpool and hopefully if we get everything done and sorted in December I’ll get a Central Area title fight.

“If it was down to me I’d be fighting for British now but I’ve got to listen to Bob (Howard, trainer) and Steve (Wood, promoter).

“It’s not where you start it’s where you finish in boxing so I’ll hopefully get the Central Area in December and go onto bigger and better things from there.

“I’ve got age, everything, on my side, so there’s no rush.”

Lowe has three knockouts in his four victories but looks more than likely to go the distance with his next opponent Pavels Senkovs.

The Mansfield-based Latvian may only have two wins in 70 fights but has only ever been stopped on cuts.

Lowe said: “This guy is very tough.

“The stoppage is not even in my mind, I’d sooner get the rounds under my belt.

“I could do with this going four rounds but if I get a chance I will take him out.”

Lowe’s fight and a packed VIP Promotions card is live online at vipboxing.tv from around 7.30pm on Saturday.

The show is headlined by the battle between Jon ‘2 Smokes’ Kays and Kevin Hooper for the vacant English super-featherweight crown.
