England football legend Stuart Pearce will be the star attraction at a charity Sportsman’s Dinner at the Trimpell Sports and Social Club.
Pearce will be joined be comic Jed Stone on Saturday, June 20 for a night in aid of Lancaster’s St John’s Hospice.
Tickets, costing £20, also include a steak pie and peas supper. There will also be an auction and raffle to raise funds for the Slyne Road charity. Former Nottingham Forest great Pearce left his position as manager of the Championship side in February.
The left back won 78 caps for his country and has also managed Manchester City, England’s Under 21s and the Great Britiain Olympic team at the 2012 London games.
