Tyson Fury and Dereck Chisora’s rescheduled clash will be in October providing the Morecambe heavyweight gets through replacement opponent Alexander Ustinov in Manchester.

The battle of the giants takes place at the Phones 4 U Arena on Saturday after Chisora pulled out of his rematch with Fury with a hand injury, ironically picked up while sparring big Belarusian Ustinov.

Promoter Frank Warren revealed at Thursday’s press conference that he now wants the world title eliminator between the two Brits to take place in October.

The Queensberry Promotions chief said: “Tyson’s been training very hard to box a guy who is much smaller than Alexander, a different style all together.

“His mindset has to be switched and it’s a fight which he can’t afford to slip up on because we will put the fight on with Dereck Chisora in October.

“We’re hoping to confirm that date after the fight. It’s up to Tyson to do the business on Saturday.”
