The ‘Westgate Warrior’ Issac Lowe steps in to the ring for the second time as a professional on Friday night.

The talented young boxer takes on Harvey Helmsly at featherweight on the undercard of Brian Rose’s British light middleweight title defence against Sam Webb at Blackpool’s Winter Gardens.

He won his first fight at the same venue at the beginning of October with a first-round stoppage victory over Michael Stupart.

Isaac is a former Lancaster Boxing Academy and England junior boxer signed with promoter Steve Wood of VIP Promotions in Manchester.

Coach Bob Howard said: “He’s had some good sparring against some good fighters and is ready to go.”

Bentham light heavyweight Tomi Tatham is also on the bill, taking on Elvis Dube.

The big night of North West boxing is on Loaded TV, Sky Channel 200, at 9.30pm.
