Chris adds Spice to latest race

Chris Spicer and his Blaze dinghy added another to his list of wins when he led the 45 minute pursuit race at Morecambe Sailing Club's meeting on the Bay on Sunday.

Second in the race for an RNLI Pennant was Dave Edwards in a Streaker with club commodore John Gibbison coming third in a Laser Radial.

A second Streaker helmed by Dyane Silvester followed in fourth place.

For a pursuit race the slower dinghies start off first with the fastest dinghy last with time gaps according to their handicaps.

They then try to catch each other up over the allotted time period.

Officer of the day was John Hodgson.
