The University Pythons team of James Robinson, Joe bailey and Ishaun Bhutoria are slipping into a relegation battle but have games in hand of the teams around them in the league.

Morecambe C are on the fringe of the promotion zoneand need to make sure they have a positive set of results for the remaining matches.

Matthew Westworth led the team with a 100 per cent singles record to win man of the match against the 3-1-5 team of Graham Brandwood, Ian Gee and Bob Quick.

Brandwood and Quick combined well to win the doubles against Madi Thompson and Dan Main, but could not prevent the home team winning 19-15.
