WARTON’S TEG-Sport, reigning British Rally Champions, continued their success in mid-Wales at the weekend when their Pirelli Subaru Imprezas, driven by Elfyn Evans and Andrew Edwards and Adam Gould and Seb Marshall, took first and third places in the Bulldog International Rally.

Evans and Edwards led from the start, while the Gould and Marshall car missed out on second place by a mere three seconds. Morecambe Car Club’s Stuart Newby (TEG-Sport’s CEO) was rightly brimming with pride after the hard-fought success of both his cars.

A major off for Peter Smith and Ross Lansthorne.

However, as in many other sports, things can go horribly wrong – the unfortunate crew of the Opel Kadett (256) were lucky to escape a monumental accident when their car eventually came to rest at the bottom of a mountain side some 150 feet from the approved route.
