Heysham’s Jack Senior has continued his return to form in 2014 with two strong Challenge Tour finishes.

The former amateur star, who has won twice on the EuroPro Tour this year, finished tied for 20th at the Le Vaudreuil Golf Challenge in France that finished on Sunday with rounds of 66, 68, 73 and 70 seeing the 26-year-old card seven under par.

That came on the back of Senior finishing tied for seventh at the Swiss Challenge seven days earlier.

Rounds of 67, 71, 71, and 65 saw the Heysham man card a 10 under par four-round total.

He will be next in action at the Azerbaijan Golf Challenge Open starting this Thursday, July 31.

Elsewhere, the Clayton Trophy takes place at Morecambe Golf Club on Saturday, August 9.

The Clayton Trophy was first presented by the late Councillor Freddie Clayton, a former Mayor of Morecambe and past captain of Heysham Golf Club, in 1935 for an annual triangular match between Lancaster, Morecambe and Heysham Golf Clubs.

This year’s foursomes tee off at 9am with and the singles at 1.30pm.
