Otters enjoy success in pool with superb 13 gold medals

There were some superb performances by young swimmers from Carnforth Otters at the recent Blackpool Rocks meet.

They finished the weekend with a grand total of 93 personal best swims, 13 gold, seven silver and three bronze medals.

In her first competition, Alice Sands (9) swam brilliantly with two personal best times in both of her events and won a silver medal in the 50m Breaststroke.

Aimee Banks (12) and Matthew Brown (12) won gold or silver in every one of their events with some fantastic times.

Thomas Dugdale (10) claimed three gold medals and one silver and Elias Giles (12) won two bronze medals, whilst Toa Smith (15) won one bronze and one gold medal and Charlotte Dent (13) claimed silver in the 50m breaststroke. Connor White (10) swam personal best times in all of his events.

Also competing were Sarah Bellamy (10), Mia Richardson (10), Sunni Rich (10), Alex Livingstone (11), Lydia- Louise Shenton (11), Ffion Ashton (11), Lydia Denby (11), Isabelle Brown (14), William Mead (9), Charles Moore (10), Connor Sisson (10), Matthew Crabtree (11) and Remi McVey (12).
