Lancaster were the victors in their North West clash with Lymm Ladies 1s, gaining their first away win of the season.

After only 10 minutes Ali Standeven latched onto a poor back pass and took it round the keeper before coolly slotting home.

Lymm turned on the pressure and when they looked odds on to score Chloe Ranson made a baseball style goal line clearance to take the lead into the break.

In the second half Lancaster were disciplined in their structure and player of the match Leighan Bleasdale was outstanding in goal, making a number of fantastic saves.

Lymm piled on the pressure and won a number of penalty corners which Lancaster were equal to.

Lancaster worked hard and soaked up the pressure and were delighted at the final whistle to get the three points and their first away win of the season.
