Andrew Flintoff has not been selected to play for St Annes at Morecambe on Saturday.

The Woodhill Lane side had been hopeful of a star turn in the Northern League clash this weekend but it appears that will not be the case.

The former England all-rounder played for the club side he represented as a youngster last month against Penrith as part of his Lancashire comeback with Morecambe captain and chairman Tommy Clough hoping for a similar appearance against his side.

The Ashes hero has signed to play in the Natwest T20 Blast for the Red Rose, five years after his last professional cricket appearance in the 2009 Ashes.

The St Annes team to face Morecambe is as follows: Kellett, Armstrong, M Bolus, N Bolus, Grindley, Harling, Holt, Taaffe, Vahaluwala, Watson, Bulcock.
