Dave Chisnall faces a key match in his Betway Premier League Darts campaign when he takes on Phil Taylor in Nottingham on Thursday night.
Morecambe’s world number five is one place above The Power in eighth with both men hoping to avoid relegation after week nine in Cardiff next month.
The week six clash that concludes the night’s action at the Capital FM Arena is a rematch of last year’s World Grand Prix final in which Taylor ran out a convincing winner.
Chisnall has four points to his name in his debut season following his draw with Raymond van Barenveld in Exeter last time out with six-time Premier League champion Taylor having just one win from his first five games.
The resort ace said: “I always enjoy playing Phil and we’ve had some great matches.
“There are four games left and anything can happen in that time, but every point is valuable - as I showed last week against Raymond.”
Elsewhere UK Open champion Adrian Lewis takes on Gary Anderson, Wes Newton returns to action after illness against Michael van Gerwen, Simon Whitlock faces Peter Wright and Raymond van Barneveld goes head-to-head with Robert Thornton.
The latest round of the Betway Premier League Darts will be shown live on Sky Sports HD1 from 7pm on Thursday night.
