Dave Chisnall’s clash with Peter Wright will kick off this year’s Betway Premier League Darts.

The pair will meet in the opening game of week one at the First Direct Arena in Leeds on February 5, live on Sky Sports.

The Morecambe ace won in the first match of last year’s competition with a dramatic final leg victory over Robert Thornton at the Echo Arena in Liverpool.

A fine 2014 has seen Chisnall retain his place in the elite 10-man field for a second year.

After Leeds the 16-week event which tours the UK’s top arenas takes in Bournemouth, Liverpool, Belfast, Exeter, Nottingham, Glasgow and Dublin before Judgement Night in Manchester, where Chisnall meets Phil Taylor, with the bottom two players eliminated at the end of the night.
Following the cut, the darting extravaganza continues in Sheffield, Aberdeen, Cardiff, Birmingham, Newcastle and Brighton before the finals at London’s 02 Arena on May 21.

First Chisnall will face Thornton in the opening round of the Unibet Masters at ArenaMK.
The pair meet live on ITV4 on the afternoon of Saturday, January 31 with the tournament concluding the following day.

The £160,000 tournament features the top 16 players from the PDC Order of Merit.
