Morecambe darts ace Dave Chisnall is through to the last 16 of the SINGHA Beer Grand Slam of Darts.

Chisnall won two and lost one of his first phase matches to top Group C at the Wolves Civic and set up a second round tie with Robbie Green on Wednesday.

The resort thrower was in fine form on Saturday afternoon to record a 5-1 win over Keegan Brown before winning 24 hours later by the same score against Austrian youngster Rowby-John Rodriguez to qualify for the knockout rounds with a game to spare.

Chisnall then lost his final group game 5-2 to Adrian Lewis on Monday night.

The £400,000 event runs until Sunday, November 16 and is live on Sky Sports.
