Dave Chisnall hit a nine-dart finish the day after winning on his Premier League debut.

The Morecambe ace was in action at the Coral UK Open Qualifiers in Wigan over the weekend and played the perfect leg to close out his last 32 contest against Keegan Brown on Friday.

With three events played over the three days, the world number five reached the last four of Friday’s event before losing to eventual winner Andy Hamilton 6-1 at the Robin Park Leisure Centre.

On Saturday, Chizzy was knocked out in round two after a 6-4 defeat to Dave Weston before reaching round four on Sunday, bowing out 6-5 to Robert Thornton, having beaten the Scot in the Premier League at Liverpool’s Echo Arena on Thursday night.
