Dave Chisnall bowed out of the Coral UK Open at the fourth round stage on Saturday afternoon.

Morecambe’s world number five lost 9-4 to Mervyn King in the ITV4-televised event at the Butlins Minehead Resort.

King, a former BDO World Championship runner-up, was in superb form as he averaged 101 and sealed victory with a 154 finish.

Chisnall had earlier beaten Justin Pipe 9-7 in round three on Friday night in a tournament won by Adrian Lewis who defeated Terry Jenkins 11-1 in Sunday night’s final.
