Morecambe’s top professional punching prospect is pencilled in for a September return to the ring.

Having moved to 8-0 with a points win over Andy Harris in Leeds last month, Isaac Lowe is now taking some time off.

The 20-year-old featherweight returns to camp with trainer Peter Fury in August before a scheduled appearance on Hennessy Sports’ September 27 show.

The event is set to stage the final of the Maxi Nutrition Knockout light heavyweight tournament between Bob Ajisafe and Travis Dickinson at a yet to be decided venue.

It will be broadcast on Channel 5 with Fury hoping his charge will make a first TV appearance having had an early undercard slot on his last two outings.

A televised spot would represent a massive boost for the Westgate Warrior of whom big things are expected over the next 12 to 18 months.
