A team of four City of Lancaster Triathlon juniors travelled to the Yorkshire Pentathlon and Tetrathlon Championships at the weekend.
Timothy and Isabelle Woodman took gold in the under 13 boys and under 13 girls events.
They also won the combined event, shoot and run, with Isabelle winning the static shoot with a personal best of 90 points.
The Whitakers, Charlotte, 16, and Emma, 13, competed in their first full pentathlons as they had to ride, swim, shoot and fence before ending with a combined run and shoot against the best in the country.
Charlotte pulled off an amazing shoot, scoring 91 out of 100, followed by a personal best swim.
After winning half her fencing bouts an excellent shoot and run saw her take third.
Emma had some tough opposition in her age group but a fine performance on the combined event gave her fourth.
