Isaac Lowe has gone head-to-head with opponent Jamie Speight ahead of their English title clash in Leeds on Saturday night.

The pair meet at the First Direct Arena on Sky Sports on the undercard of Josh Warrington’s defence of his WBC International and Commonwealth featherweight titles against Joel Brunker.

Unbeaten Lowe, 10-0, faces the first major test of his promising career against the Southern Area champion from Devon.

They got up close and personal for the first time at a press conference at Leeds United’s Elland Road on Thursday.

Lowe, known as the Westgate Warrior, said: “It’s the toughest fight of my life and Jamie’s record doesn’t do him justice as he’s a tough guy.

“But we are ready.”

Lowe and Speight, and the rest of the Marching on Together bill, will weigh in on Friday at 1.30pm at the Leeds City Museum in Millennium Square with the event open to the public.
