MORECAMBE boss Jim Bentley has continued his team building for next season by securing the services of midfielder Andy Fleming for at least one more campaign.
The Shrimps had a one year option on Fleming after the former Wrexham man had spent two years at the Globe Arena and the club have taken up that deal with Bentley also in negotiations with Andy Parrish over a new contract and signing Craig Curran on loan last week with a view to a permanent deal for next season.
Bentley said: “We have seven games left this season and I want us to finish with a flourish but I am working hard towards getting as much of the squad together for next season as soon as possible.
“I know there will be a lot of players available at the end of the season but I want us to have as much of our squad in place as soon as we can to give us that continuity we need.
“I am a big admirer of Andy Fleming and think he is a player with a big future ahead of him.
“We are also in talks with Andy Parrish who is another we would love to have with us next season.
“He has grown as a player with the club and is another young player who has come a long way with us and will continue to improve.”
