JOIN the Jim Bentley revolution, or so say the new t-shirts being advertised at Monday night’s game against a Manchester United XI.
And that is what Morecambe’s chief executive Rod Taylor is urging people from around the district to do as the club build up for Bentley’s first competitive game in charge against Barnet at the Globe Arena on Saturday.
Mr Taylor said: “It’s the start of a new season and the start of a new era and it would be great to get off to a good start.
“It’s nice to kick off with a home fixture but there are no easy games in this league.
“Barnet have a new manager in Lawrie Sanchez and they only just survived last year so there are a lot of ingredients for a good game.
“If you are a Morecambe supporter bring a friend or relative and let’s get the Globe Arena buzzing.”
